Local Transport Plan for Merseyside 2006-2011

The second Local Transport Plan (LTP) for Merseyside was developed by the local authorities of Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St. Helens and Wirral, in partnership with Merseytravel. The document was submitted to the Government's Department for Transport on 31st March 2006 and will cover the period 2006 - 2011.

It is vital that the LTP be developed and produced in close consultation with the public. The first stage in this consultation was to identify the key issues that you wanted us to address in the second LTP and the results can be found on the Results of Consultation page of this website.

Though consultation on this document is now closed, your views are welcomed on all aspects of the LTP and can be expressed at any time by email.
